technical info
The route of the ITT is composed of two virtually straight sectors, taking a ‘round trip’ along the same lane, with a ‘U‑turn’ halfway. The course runs straight for 5.0 kms all the way to the U‑turn in Marina di Pietrasanta, where split time is taken. The route then runs for a further 5.3 kms up to Lido di Camaiore, where an S‑bend leads into the final kilometre.
Final kilometres
The last 3 kilometres are flat and straight, heading south. With 1,200 metres to the finish, a right/left S‑bend on narrowed roadway, leading to the 1 km long home straight, marks the only complication. The finish line lies on a 6.5 m wide tarmac road.

Lido di Camaiore
Overview
Seaside resort of Versilia, located between Viareggio and Marina di Pietrasanta, Lido di Camaiore is a popular destination for tourists for its wide sandy beach and nighttime attractions in the evening. Much of the beach in the summer is home to establishments equipped for every need, able to attract people of all ages looking for relaxation and fun. The promenade is crossed by a long promenade lined with hotels, shops and restaurant businesses, while the town is characterized by pleasant Liberty-style villas surrounded by greenery. The main attraction is the modern pier, with its rotunda overlooking the sea that allows you to fully enjoy the pleasant sea breeze on summer evenings. Appreciated by lovers of two wheels, Lido di Camaiore was often the scene of the arrivals of the Giro d’Italia, in 1997, 2002 and 2007 and the usual inaugural stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico.
Points of interest
The seafront of Lido di Camaiore is Viale Ermenegildo Pistelli and represents one of the most prestigious places of interest in Lido di Camaiore. A walk of about two kilometers where citizens and many tourists can walk, finding shops, restaurants and moments of relaxation.
Another element of great attraction is the pier, built in recent years and has become a true icon of the Municipality and of Versilia. It is located about halfway along the seafront promenade, and stretches for 200 meters. At the end, there is a bar-restaurant where you can enjoy an aperitif at sunset, and a wonderful panoramic terrace.
Lido di Camaiore, however, also hosts one of the most important green areas in the Municipality of Camaiore and Versilia: the Bussoladomani park. The area is about 75,000 square meters and extends between viale Bernardini, viale Kennedy, via Abetone and via Monte Pania.
