From Benedetto del Tronto to San Benedetto del Tronto
As per tradition, the ITT in San Benedetto del Tronto will be the closing stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. A pan‑flat route of 11 kilometres and 100 metres that will declare the winner of the Race of the Two Seas.
The course is straight in the middle, hence best suited to pure sprinters, but it twists and turns at the start and in the final part, so there may be a trap around every corner.
The stage is short, and yet it is bound to have us hold our breath until the last metre.
Just like the entire Tirreno-Adriatico: a race that showcases the stunning beauty of Italy combined with the best of worldwide cycling in as little as one week.
